Genesis 3/16" Drive shaft upgrade help

New to RC Boating, bought the Genesis and of course upgrading like crazy. Need help with 3/16" shaft install. My parts listed below.

Motor : Leopard 4082 1600Kv 2Y

ESC: Seaking 180

Battery(s): HYPERION G3 EX 5000 MAH 3S 11.1V 45C/90C LIPOLY PACK

Smoked the stock prop in seconds.

So I ordered the 3/16" shaft kit from below.

How do I go about installing it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

youll have to remove / cut out the existing stuffing tube to fit the new one, also bend it to shape.
To be honest, if your doing a 3/16 setup, you want to use 1/4 brass tubing and no teflon liner.
I have found that if you use a teflon liner and larger than 1/4 tube, you usually cannot insert the brass tube into most 3/16 struts.

realistically though
collet = $10
Flex shaft = $20
Brass tube = $3
Speedmaster 3/16 brass "thingy" $10 is all you need
