I'm just pokin in here as one of the club buddies has one and is relying on me to set it up.Whatcha got for a motor/ESC?

Oh,and the CG should be at the rear of the sponsons if possible. If it is behind that a higher lift prop can be used. I am currently setting up my Miss Bud hydro(or was before winter) and that is what info I have gathered thus far.

            Justski.

Some good info on Hydro & rigger set up here. COG is discussed towards the end of the page.

There is also the 60/40 rule to consider. Where 60% of the total weight of the boat should be at the trailing edge of the sponsons & 40% of the total weight should be at the prop.

            Cheers.
            Paul.

Hi, I run 1 of these hulls with a aqua craft set up. Try for a CG 40 mm behind the step. Usual prop is a H5 abc. Runs great, good fun. Steve

I have a CC 1515 1y and he has a Skywing 200(PITA) I also shall have a Trackstar 2650 for him as well in case of battery room issues.
Oh and now I do recall the back of turn fin for CG on riggers. So I agree with CPGISE

60/40 ONLY WORKS ON CENTER SKI BOATS (JAE), 70/30 for the others is a good starting place.

The turn fin is basically your pivit point....so normally on a rigger the c of g will be around the end of your fin....
