Gathering gear for my new build need reccomendations

Looking for gear for my next build and it is going to be a 1/16th scale Miss Thriftway.
Going to use a single 2S Lipo aprox 3000mah
    Motor is going to be a Leopard 3650KV LBP2845/4.5D 50A 800W or a 4420Kv LBP2845/2Y 58A 800W
looking for a recombination for the ESC how bout the seaking 60? I have no experience with the Seaking's so asking for help.
Prop will probably be a x430R as I ama scale geek and turning right just seems weird to me.

Here is a replica of the real boat

Here is some background I build a same size but slightly newer hull design a couple of years back a 67 Bardahl that now resides in So Cal. It used the following specs
    2S 3000mah lipo and a
    Ammo 28-45-3600kV
    SPECS: Motor Diameter: 1.1" (28mm)
    Motor Length: 1.77" (45mm)
    Shaft Diameter: .126" (3.2mm)
    Shaft Length: .591" (15mm)
    kV Rating: 3600 rpm/V
    Weight: 4.6oz (133g)
    Input Voltage: 7.4-14.8V
    Max. Constant Current: 40A
    Max. Surge Current: 70A
    Max. Constant Watts: 592W
    No Load Current: 2.3A
here is a video of it running on a 2s 2500 mah lipo and a x430 with the ammo motor above

60 sounds a little small for that hull on a 2s motor i run 4s in a v hull that big and running it on a 60 amp esc would be cutting it close also the 60 is a 2-3s esc limiting it use in the future for 4s

I run a proboat 60 on my 1/10th scale with no problems and 4s and that boat is 36 in long and about 5 bounds heaviier

My main concern was the high IV pulling 800 Watts out of those leopards is going to put you at 100 amps

Hi, Your original build sounds nice. Go with that setup. I have a cat about the same size w/a turnigy 2845 3000kv and a Sk60. It goes great. Running it on 2s mainly and a small 3s pack for more speed. Prop is about the same size (slightly bigger) but just plastic. Regarding seaking escs I think they are great. Made for boats and simple to program w/ the $7 program box. Very reliable. Merry X mas.

Just trying to get as much gear from OSE as I can since i have a gift certificate to use. I know I am not the brightest bulb and I don't know much about motors but the two Leopard motors are rated at 50 and 58 amps not sure how that motor could put out 100 amps if the boat is setup correctly and it is not over propped.

Jim im no motor expert either but going by the specs given the 800 watts divided by the 7.4 voltage =108 amps maybe in misunderstanding the equation but i always like to be safe as i have fried quite a few escs, just trying to save you a little heartache. Maybe you should wait for a couple others to chime in

Fyi i run a 17" mini cat on a 28x37 2100kv outrunner on a waterprooped watercooled hobbyking heli 65 amp esc on a x431 or x435 and the esc and motor get hot. Havent burnt them yet but limits run time and its just a matter of time before she goes poof
