    Delta Force 33 vs. Pursuit

I am going to do my second build and am trying to decide between the DF33 or the Pursuit. I run sport on a lake with conditions ranging from glass to light chop (2 to 4in). Any opinions on these hulls or another suggestion within the size range would be appreciated.

Thanks jkr. Can you tell me why you suggest the Cyberstorm? Thanks

It is fast like the persuit and turns like DF33.
Also it is good for choppy waters like the conditions you mentioned.

The DF33 is a very fast hull in flat to slight chop. It gets a little darty in rougher water. The Cyberstorm has a little more V angle which performs better in rougher water. The DF hulls are more capable hulls with higher power systems compared to the Revolt which is intended for P Spec power systems.

            gfm1135.

            jkr & Tyler are right.

I've raced both the 32" pursuit & the 33" DF (copy) against the DF Cyberstorm, over the last two years, in all sorts of water conditions. I've won a few races , but lost more to them due to handling characteristics. So guess what? I've just received delivery of a pristine DF Cyberstorm hull from Steve to build up for next year's racing.
With the help of others at our club, I've seen the light. (Thanks Trev.)

            All the best.
            Paul.

For those on a tight budget there is the TFL version of a pursuit for a few bucks less. The quality isn't as nice as the DF version though and you can get in white or yellow only.

No, I was referring to the posting from Ray about the TFL version

You would be better off with a DF. Steve doesn't like it when people advertise for competing products like the Pursuit/ HOR version.

HobbyKing is also an option but, you will never get the customer service Steve gives from abroad. Thats all I will tell you.

I agree Ray. I have already been in contact with Steve regarding the power requirements/suggestions for the Cyberstorm. It was mainly curiosity on my part. I want to keep my $$ in the USA and more specifacly with OSE for as much of this build as i can.

If I can scrape up the $$ I might get one in the spring. My DF33 has seen better days but, solid still. The deeper vee is a great choice, much more stable.

Besides you will save almost no $$ and have to paint your boat most likely.
