    Prop Recommendations : ????

    HI,
I'm looking for some prop recommendations for a couple of hulls.
    1) Mean Machine cat with a 9XL with a Barracuda 125 on 2-4S1P 4900's lipos in parallel...
    2)Viper Hydro with a 12L with a Hydra 120 on 2-2S1P 4900's in Series
    3) Blizzard Outrigger with a 6S with a Barracuda 125 on 2-2S1P 4350's lipos in parallel.

I need to know what to pick up for props for each if possible.
    Any help would be appreciated..
    Thanx, Tom H.

mean machine: start with a k40(1st 4 runs) then move up to k42-k45, when you find a prop you like then buy it in CuBe.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

You can probably swap props with the Mean Machine and the Viper, so get a couple to test. Something along the lines of an X440, X442, X642, X445.

I have raced a Blizzard with a Hacker 6S on LiPo's with a worked on X435 and a Castle 80 controller, but this setup was only good for 90 seconds of runtime. I would recommend starting with an X432. These are 1/8 shaft props. An X430 may get you a bit more runtime, but you need to be aware that no matter what prop you put on this boat, you need to be very aware of your runtime. Keep it short.

er do I gather that you have not yet been 'window' shopping here at off shore electrics...? steven usually has a nice selection of props for sale(not to mention a lot of other nice boat related stuff).

                Yeah,
I'm just a Gas guy trying to run FE...
I'm used to purchasing SS props and Berrilium(SP?) ones.
Wasn't to sure about the carbon ones.. Won't there be a weight difference between the two??
                Thanx, Tom H.

carbon fiber will hold up. plus you can buy serval sizes without breaking the bank and get a pretty good picture of what to invest in later.

A bunch of the carbon props are out of stock, but I expect a shipment from Germany any day now.
