    New Gasser

ArrowShark as a new big cat. Looks pretty neet. Not a bad price either.

I'd head over the Jim's RC Boat Dock to get some feedback before I dropped money on this one.

            Jim's RC Boat Dock

I will say that none of the gas boats I've seen at races use clutches or water pumps.

Is the Walbro 534 carb the high performance carb or stock carb with the 260?

From the looks of it in the pics, the hull doesn't look so deep(tall). If so I think that would be an advantage. My uncle's BJ55 like to roll over on some turns, the COG it too high. And once that happens, since its not sealed up, its done for the day.

Looks great for the price. Just make sure there's extra added flotation in the hull. It saves my uncles boat everytime it rolls.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Bill I've done some research over there on Arrowshark. I was looking @ the HighWind\XXX knock off. A guy over seas picked one up and gave it some mixed but mostly positive reviews. I did some more digging and found that while some of the parts are a little mid grade the motor hardware and hull are solid. If memory serves the issues where fuel & water lines, water pump location and I think he replaced the coil. I'd have no problem with things like that.
Hey it's not like buying a (Rip51 lol actuall typo) Rio51 and waiting for the exhaust to bust right out the block right?

I was checking into the Rip51. It seems to me that the pipe is to rigid, I used to race gokarts and we always mounted pipes with springs. Some of the rookies would hard bolt the pipe and it would rip the studs out.
Seems to me if you replace the mounting hardware and add a support in the middle of the pipe the problem would be solved.
