    revolt 30 vs impulse31

OK guys. What the deal with the impulse 31 . I have been hearing allot of different things about both revolt and impulse. I see there somewhat competing against each other. What's the deal which is better. I saw video today a revolt flying by an impulse. So I'm stuck between a revolt or impulse. Tomorrow I order my boat ugh

Both good boats but any rtr will have issues to deal with and it depends what electronics you put in them as far as speed goes i have a revolt and was looking at both when i got mine but the hardware on the revolt is why i went with it it just looked better to me

Haha I had the same tacon On my tunnel hull. The power that was coming off it I had to add 2nd dagger board in the center...I kinda like the metal on revolt. This will proberly be my 6th boat.

Ok I ended up getting a revolt 30 and Ul-1 hydro this morning at 8:30am . I am very impressed with it both. Took both for soin this morning and worked out great did some minor trim adjustments. Any prop recomendations for the UL-1?
My 5yr old son loves the Ul-1. He also says hope to join ose and find people to race in the area.

Go with a octura m445 on the ul-1 its a great prop for that boat, be sure to sharpen and balance it.
the m445 should get you close to if not more then 50mph.

Plenty of prop info in the UL-1 forum. Personally I didn't like the m445 because of the handling, Grim 40/57-3 wih some work on it and I run about 50 with good handling. I have an Impulse(older version), but if I did it again I may have gone Revolt.........

I gotta agree with Kevin. M445 just made it handle terrible

The hull revolt30 and impulse31 (29 ") are almost equal, the revolt is not separated from the water, is more stable
                          I try revolt30, with electronics impulse31 v2 (5s and 6s) and it's amazing

                          Hi, Mike grimracer zaborowski
I think there are serious problems with the design of the rudder, the water pickup hole is very high, need 1 inch below ( the water pickup hole should be no less than one inch below the keel) very small rudder, a minimum recommended length is 1 times the diameter of its support below Lx 15% 30”x15% = 4,5” minimum. (REVOLT 30 ONLY 4")
                          thank you very much

Manny, I've seen you post this exact same post across about 4 or 5 threads with anything that mentions "Revolt". First of all, your formula and comments don't make any sense, secondly, I've not seen anyone claim they have a cooling problem, third, the AQ Marine ESC has been around for years and is one of the more common ESCs in the industry.

Please stop trolling and contribute something useful.
