Are 5.5 bullets better than deans and why if do?

simple answer... yes. Bullets handle alot higher current, no plastic to melt, simple to use, easier to soldier. I only use deans on my small planes that pull under 40A, everything else is bullets. I have had deans get that hot that the plastic has melted and fused the connectors together.Cars and planes are for fun... Boats are for serious racingBust Out Another Thousand

Deans are terrible. The are a pain to solder up, and my UL-1 de-soldered them easily and one fused as in Black Snake's post as above; the factory esc ones de-soldered ruining my first session with the UL-1. EC-5 my brotha! In this case, bigger is always better.Comment
