    Stainless stuffing tube

im wondering if anyone has used the 1/4 inch stainless tubing for a stuffing tube. or is it best to just stick with the brass stuff. The .187 flex seems to fit a bit more snug in the stainless.

You can use SS if you want, but on that small of a flex. Brass is just easier to bend. I know when I build my boat this winter, I'm going to run SS for added protection if one of my flex shafts come apart. But my 2 runs will only be 3-4" long and run a 1/4" flex.

Ok im sticking with the brass tubing. Im getting all the parts ordered for a fightercat fantasm build. Doing a single. Is the 12 inch 1/4 tube long enough ? The hull isnt in yet, but i have the OSE 80085 strut and rudder system, this sound good ? Also will be running a Leopard 4092 1480 kv on 6s. Castel 240 ice esc. Any input or ideas from members would be helpfull. Prop size ? COG ?

I have a single Fantasm and I just measured my stuffing tube. It's only 8" long, so you should be good with the 12" .

That strut would be fine, but I hate inline rudders. This is whats is on mine, and its only $36

I like HV setups myself. I have a TP 4092 980kv run on8, 9 an 10s. The fastest I've had my boat is 69.2mph running on 9s with a x455. I'm waiting to put my Miss Geico back together for a recovery boat. Then I'm going to try out my S235 on 9s and 10s
