Flex wire lubrication in teflon tube?

I use oil with my flex cable that doesn't use a teflon liner, and now with a new boat build, I have used a teflon liner, and I'm wondering what I should use for lubrication?

Is oil OK, or will this corrode or eat away at the teflon over time?

Just use the same oil, or grease, nothing will eat teflon.
The teflon could probably be run dry, but the idea is that the oil will work its way down to keep lubing the stub shaft.

Why did you switch to the teflon tube?

Well the first boat I bought didn't have one, so I ran it the way it was (flex cable in a brass stuffing tube). When I did my first boat build, it was recommended by the builder to use a Teflon tube drive system. Being a newbie with boats, I followed his advice :)

I just recently just had to go from running a teflon tube
to not running a teflon tube only because i dont know
what size brass stuffing tube is on this boat i have, and i dont
have much time i guess to try out a .187 in it
