i ran my vanquish yesterday with my new set up from ose a 1250kv with 180 seeking esc combo wit a cnc 50mm and. a x645 prop. it ran good with the x645 bout mid 40s and with the 50mm i got. low 50s. the issue i was getting is the bout will run for 2mins then power cut to half like the low voltage was cuting in so we test the battery and they was to 75% and to 56% .open boat esc was warm battery was little warm. when i let it rest for 5mins and she was running good for a while. i think my water pick up was to high so i guess it was hardly getting water do think this was the cause of the esc shutting down to 50%

It sounds like a thermal issue, particularly if you ran it for some time on the original pack after the shutdown. The ESC will latch to 50% if the LVC is detected and can only be removed by re-powering the ESC. A thermal shutdown will clear once the temp reduces to a normal temp regardless whether the ESC is re-powered or not. Did you disconnect the battery from the ESC after it happened? If not then it sounds like it was caused by temperature.
