    Lipo mounting in a rigger

What is the best way to mount or stap down a 4s 5000 battery in a rigger? Pictures of ideas would be a great help.

    Thanks, Allen

I've been running Velcro on the bottom of the hull and the battery. These batteries are very heavy and I'm just concerned that in a hard crash that it will break loose and blow through the sealed top hatch. I'm thinking about epoxying in some hooks to the floor and using Velcro straps over the top of the battery. Easier to remove and more secure.

I run Velcro tie-down straps under the Velcro on the tub floor. This increases the hold down strength a bunch. On other hulls I drill through the stringers and bolt on the Velcro straps. The packs are going no where with the bolted-in straps - unless the hull comes apart.
