    DF Pirate temps

I am having a little heat problem on my 35" DF Pirate running SeaKing 180, Leopard 4092 1480kv on 6s 2p.
The sensor is mounted to the can on the last 1/2 inch behind the cooling jacket. It levels off at 155 degrees. Runs 5 plus minutes with octura 445 sharpened and balanced. Running 6s 2p Lake temp isin the 60 + range. I do not see water exiting the outlets but I checked and they are open and wet. I have blown air through them with no resistance. The exits are large so there is no back pressure.
    Any ideas or comments?
Does this mean that this is too much prop.

You said "it levels off" - does that mean that after three or four minutes the motor temperature stops rising? The setup you have is on the hot side for five minutes of run time, depending on how you run of course. How do you know it's five minutes? How much charge do you put back in the packs after 5 minutes running?

Ran 5 minutes. Batteries were near 3. 2 per cell. After ten minutes, took that long to get back to shop charging station from waters edge they were at 3. 5 per cell. I know this is pushing the limit of discharge but stillin discovery phase of testing. It has been recommended to go to a occura x450 or three blade 447, seems as if they would be more aggressive and therefore run hotter.
According to eagle tree the temp hit 155 at three minutes then went down a degree or two and back up , never went above 155. My question is we're should the reading be taken, the temp gun shows cooler toward the shaft output but thermistor is at the back of motor.
If 140 is optimal high temp then this is high.
I'm a little lost as temps seem to be very different at different points on the motor case.battery, esc temps are well within recommendations at 120 / 125. Also temp was better after a motor bullet was replaced that was a little too loose and had increased resistance .
Oh forgot radio was running timer, was at full throttle most of the run. Put 4700 may back in, if I remember correctly.
