So I guess I have to Pay to play. What's my best bang for the buck? Any other options other than a schulze, swordie, castle, MGM . Just looking for other options. I should probably wait and there will be more. I got till spring. Let me of any others that would be great. Thanks,MM.

swordfish 300's so far are idiot proof.... dont take that the wrong way !
Ive repaired numerous examples the others you've listed.

You could try YGE, AS, Flier (fightercat), ETTI

I've been looking at the swordie. Just trying to be cheap and spend less than six bills on some escs. What is AS brand that you posted. I looked at the rest. Have you seen the alien esc on eBay? Looks nice but don't know about support or quality. Thanks, MM.

'AS' are a German brand, technology from Nixx days but still keeping up.
            No, not cheap.

Higher power = higher costs.. that's the way it goes...
            x524 2Y are 910/ kv ?
230A+ amp hogs from another's testing here inside ose forum.
get the best esc you can..wait and save rather than buy and burn !!!!
similarly you need good batteries else all sort of things return blackened
