    titan 40 fun boat

Hey guys. This is my new fun boat. it is a " E2 mono" really but wont be raced as E2.
at my condo, the water..... it is very rough and can have alot of wind. so i needed a large hull, heavy, and can self right. not to mention one that handles well.
The toys port triton was nice but i could not handle worth a *!***!***!***!**. after i sold that, i ordered a seaducer SD3, after taking FOREVER to get here i canceled that ( would have been my E2/fun boat in one).
so i got this titan 40., heavy big and.....
SO i chopped a hole in the back and threw in a 12XL, hacker 77 and 30C4500 Mah 4s2p packs.

slow, well yeah but good enough for the wavy conditions i see at my condo but still fast enough to patrol the waters on goose watch.
now with a water chamber ( works flawlessly) and my packs down the center line, they are not going no were!
now just need to get my radio... waiting for a customer to pay me.

Very nice! I just bought a titan 29 and a titan 33 hull for a future build. These hulls are well built and seem to handle very well in rougher waters. Actually, the thought of making a flood chamber on the titan 29 crossed my mind. It's great to see that some one has actually done it! Did you make a small pinhole toward the bow on the side of the flood chamber?

not a pin hole, about the size of a 1/4 of a inch. and i made 4 of them.
the titans do not handel FAST well. 50 + and they down right suck. but they are good in rough water.

Where did you place the 4 holes? When you get a chance, it would be great to see the flood chamber in action. As for me, I bought the titan 29 to use up some spare HW I had lying around.

Oh really? Mine handles extremely well in race water running in the low/mid-50s. I guess it's all in the setup.

well this being my first titan series hull i am going by what i have seen and heard.
all in the setup, well i guess your right. this is the the first time i have setup a titan.
the one titan 40 we have that races in E2 isnt as good as the DF and seaducers.T
assumptions i guess i should not have made but i will find out for my self.

"and they down right suck" Yeah, probably should have saved that one, at least until you have one on the water.
Some people say Seaducers suck, Seadunker ect. Like Jay said, It's all in the setup!

                  good luck with her!
