Bought a Wave Shark from Steven a while back and gave it SV power and a 440/3 blade prop and lipos. The hull could not handle that kind of power at anywhere near full throttle. It would start hopping and then just get out of shape and flip over. It was still fun but I thought some extra weight might stop the hopping. I picked up two bags of sinker weights(about 8 bucks apiece) and put one at the very rear under the servo mount bracket and the other just in front of the motor. It's a completely different boat now. It still hops some at full throttle but is very stable. It can do 360's-not just one but 3 in a row by just turning fast at anything less then full throttle-while staying upright. I was worried it might sink to fast if it were to tip with the extra weight but to my surprise it lays on it's side for a couple seconds and then self-rights. I never tape the hatch and it never gets water inside. So if you ever get tired of just running your fast electrics back and forth in a straifgt line. Dust off that old Wave Shark and have some fun. I also enjoy my BL powered Surfer Lisa as do the bystanders.
Cen Wave Shark+SV power+some lead weight=FUN and it self-rights
