The fastest FE OPC in NAMBA or IMPBA runs 65 mph and was built and run by one of the most talented FE racers extant. It makes a couple passes then heads back to the beach before it burns up. Your buddy is - politely - full of it. His boat neither goes 70 mph nor does it run for 45 minutes.

He is the one who knows nothing about FE boats: "120 Amp Turnigy aquastar water cooled brushless speed control which runs on 4c lipos." I see he has removed references to speed and run time...

On sunday I ran a tunigy aquastar 3060kv (same?) motor in a rigger on 3s 4500 nanotech. Sadly it only didn't quite get to the end of 5 laps. I've still got to figure out if it will go the distance, certainly not 70mph or long run time! It did go ok though thru rough water and against gasers.

i pretty much figured the guy was full of crap, he hasent replied to anymore of my email questions, i just hope if he manages to sell it that whoever buys it does some research first, i think it would make a good first boat for my 8yo but it would probabbly be too slow for her lol i cant keep her away from my pb mystic
