    vanquish hull from hobby king

    I just got my vanquish hull todday I'm using my set up out of my spartan for the mean while which is
    a lepord 4082 1600kv a 80 hv seaking and a x645 prop. On two 3s 5000 mah . I heard that the boat dives alot where would be a good place to put my batteries in the boat and what can I do to keep the boat running on her stern. Appreciate all imput and advice thx u,

    A good starting point for the cg is 30% in from the transome, in the case of this hull start at 12.5".

      Ok thx what u think of the set up with rhe 1600kv motor nd x645 prop

        Its quite a big hull for a 4082 motor, also with 35500rpm unloaded you want to start with a smaller prop. The x645 has a lot of pitch, id start of with something like an m445. You need to keep an eye on temps with only using an 80a HV esc as well, you also need to check the Vanquish for hook in the rear of the hull as they tend to come with this defect in the moulding as this with make the hull run very wet pushing amp draw higher.
