    TT Outlaw setup?

I guys I recently got a thunder tiger outlaw OBL (40" hull) in trade. Trying to figure out a setup to run it in Q-Mono ( I think thats the right NAMBA class) the guy I got it from has had nothing but problems with and I think its current setup is why:
    Leapord 3674 2650KV
    TurboJet 200A esc
    Octura X452 prop
    8S lipo

I was thinking of going to a:
    Neu 1527 1250KV/1Y
    Swordfish 300A esc
    Start with an Octura X455
    8S Lipo

I am really new to the hobby and still scrabling to figure this all out but I would love to get your guys thoughts on the setup for this boat. couple more questions
What kind of speed should I exspect out of this setup and is there a leopard motor equivalent to the 1527 Neu that might cut some of the cost down. I know the 300A esc is probably overkill but I cant figure out how much amp draw I would have with that setup.

its a wonder they guy you got this from did not smoke anything...
    2650kv on 8s = 78,000rpms on a 52mm prop!

if it were me, I would use a motor with a lower kv of 1000 to 1100kv
and the Leopard 4092 is a decent motor, like the 5D would work good

Ya it went up in smoke twice on the guy and it gets better it was all wired with deans connectors lol. I like to think of it as the floating fog machine lol. I was hoping to have it ready for the turkey shoot In greely CO this weekend but just no way I'm gonna make it so oh well it will be a good winter project. I think you race in my district (20) I could really use a brushless guru to bounce some ideas off of and learn all this FE stuff.I feel bad for asking but if you have time and wouldn't mind could you PM your number so I could maybe pick your brain on some of this stuff. Its way faster than waiting on the forums to answer a question. I think I have worn out the search button lol. I am part of the new club here in wyomig and I have to say everyone I have met with Namba 20 has been a tremendous help.
