As im building a new cat i went for a leopard 4082 1800Kv, do i go for a 3/16 drive or a M4 or is that too small ? planing to run on 6s as a sports boat
That motor is too hot for most sport running. You will be very limited on prop choice and your run time may be short. That motor is better suited for 4S or 5S. Regardless, go with a 3/16" drive.
