Trim Tabs and Turn Fins On a Cat?

I was wondering if trim-tabs and turn-fins work on a catamaran? Would they help improve performance at all?

It depends. Most catamarans do not benefit from trim tabs at all, they just add drag....there are other more effective tuning methods. Turn fins are sledom used, although some cats will beneift from a skeg on the strut as this can prevent hooking. Usually a larger/longer rudder will take care of any hooking. Very few FE or gas racing catamarans use tabs or fins.
