    Shoe Goo/Household Goop

Anybody out there like Shoe Goo as much as I do? I use it on lots of stuff and it seems to hold better than epoxy or JB Weld in a lot of applications. Motor mounts stay on fiberglass better, stuffing tube braces, I even glue servos and have yet to have one come loose, even on 40" outriggers. But if you have to remove it I use a stiff putty knife to get under it and it comes up pretty easily. Any thoughts?

I like that it is semi permanent and stays a bit flexible. I use it to seal the strut on my 1/10 shovel (strut is mounted on inside and exits thru the bottom of the hull), seal holes, and secure components to the bottom of the hull-- I like to know I can remove it to change the layout and balance if I want.

I love shoe goo, but there is also a 5 pack of shoe goo, household goo, etc. that are in little tubes that make it easier to glue something if you have tight quarters to get into.

I have found a very similar product called E6000 sold at Micheals and Hobby Lobby even Walmart and it is a little cheaper than SHOO GOO it works great only thing I have found taht you can glue the plastic fuel takns together and they actually hold and to get them apart you have to work at it. Some really great adhesive.

I've used it to seal the servo and antenna holes. Not sure if its better than silicone but so far I like it alot.
