Is This Motor An Upgrade? (Thunder Tiger Desperado Jr Brushless RTR)

So I just bought this motor: http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m278-2848-2100kv-18t.html as an upgrade to my first hobby grade boat. (Thunder Tiger Desperado Jr Brushless RTR) I am looking for more speed (Looking for at most 30mph) over the stock motor... ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBLLZ&P=Z ). I didn’t notice until yesterday that the stock motor is an out runner and the tacon is an in runner. I know that out runners produce more torque and run cooler (because they are practilly a fan) than inrunners but because the tacon that i bought, the stator is longer than the outrunners and its rated at a higher kv (I have been told thats its more like 2600kv and not 2100kv). anyways what i am trying to get to here is if this tacon motor that i bought to replace the stock one would allow the prop to spin faster for more speed. I am also wondering what would be an upgrade prop to the stock one ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBLMA&P=Z )

The motor you bought (2848) is under powered for a 29" hull
