    Reviving Dead Cells?

I purchased (6) 7 cell NIMH packs from batteryspace.com. The voltage on 4 of the packs measured out kind of low(.72-.83 volts per cell). I am going to try to use these. However, 2 of the packs had cells measuring 0 volts. I called batteryspace directly and after arguing with two of their employees for a half hour or so they pretty much told me to eat it! They didn't want to replace them or refund me for the packs. Just a fair warning for anyone who thought about buying their products! I have heard a few people mention that there is a way to revive dead cells. Does it work? If so, how is it done? Thanks!

If you are able to get these packs to tale a charge you'll find that the capacity will be greatly reduced.

When we were running NiMh cells I would cycle 80 or so single cells at a time. NEVER did a cell that arrived at less than .9v ever come up to capacity.

Thats another good thing about Steven at OSE, he would take the time to measure the cells voltage before he sent them out.

There is nothing you can do. I would return them. This is their warranty policy http://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...on=Custom&ID=1. I would ask for your money back. If they do not honor their warranty contact your credit card company and tell them to cancel the payment since they shipped you dead cells. Either buy your NiMH cells on this site or here http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/?sid=1124786.
