I have read a few thing's on this forum an heard many thing's over the year's on this Topic.

What I have read and hear is that some guy's say to round any Sharp edge's on the bottom of your Hull to make it faster and other say to Sharpen the edge's What do you guy's say.

Round above waterline, square below waterline. Air turbulence is different than turbulent water. Kinda like a theoretical raindrop shaped like a teardrop. And sharp corners on boat hulls mainly because most of the "edges, corners" are not really underwater. They are right at waterline. (When the boat is moving, given it is on plane) the water will not (in laymens terms) wick up the hull, it will have a defined exit contact.

Where exactly have you heard that rounded edges on the hull bottom is faster? I doubt it was on this forum - maybe on RC Universe? That is total BS anyway when talking about planing hulls, forget about it. I've set enough speed records and done enough testing to know what works. Both air and water behave in the same manner, but since water is much "thicker" it has a much greater effect on hull drag. Sharp edges in contact with the water cause the water to break free of the hull much more easily, reducing suction and overall drag. Things are different when an object is moving through a medium - air or water - but since our boats skip along the surface of the water sharp edges are required if minimizing drag is important to you.

I've read it on a few Forum's and other places but never gave it much thought,I know that sometimes when thing's are similar like Air and Water they do not alway's act the same and sometimes they do,me and a friend were discussing it and he said that he thought Sharpened edge's on the bottom of the Hull works best and I thought rounded as that's what I have heard.

If you round off the edges on the hull bottom including any rails youll ruin it, sharper the better. Some manufacturers invest a lot of time & money in this area to have really sharpe crisp edges.
