4074 2200kv on 5s ok ?

Hi,

Thinking of trying 5s with my 36"Shockwave to FE,
Setup is T120a and added caps with a 4074 2200kv and a x646/3 prop.
I have been running 4s and all temps are low.

If you do run 5s I would prop down and at 40,000 unloaded rpm I would think it would be a saw setup.

Your motor will run but your esc probably will .
Put in a T180

You'll blow the ESC. My word Lenny, that prop is the same as running an x452!!!!! It must be fast as the dickens on 4s........

I went running boats to night and was trying some new lights I put on the 36" boat,
They looked pretty good and made it easier to see it at dusk,
But I still almost screwed a duck with the boat anyway.

I thought about trying the 5s pack that I had setting there,
Saying try me try me,
But I wanted to see what you guys had to say first.

Yes it's moving pretty good on 4s,

I had some 10s packs that I split into two 5s packs,
And wanted to try them in something.

May be I will try putting the T600 1400kv in the hull on 5s and see how it run and sound to me.

Hey Lenny, how are you shrink wrapping, or taping your cells? I've not found any shrink tube large enough for 5s.
