Bare hull mounting question

Should the motor mount, servo and ESC be mounted directly to the hull or should plywood be glued in first?

depends what you want.
personally i hate any kind of wood in a boat, however having wooden rails in the boat does get rid of some of the harsh vibrations.

My T180 ESC is velcro ed onto the hull. servos need a bracket of some description to stop it from moving.
