    Flex shaft questions

I am relatively new to FE boats and as a first real rc boat i picked up an Aquacraft Revolt 30. The boat has been great so far but when i
last greased the flex shaft i took out the Teflon liner in the stuffing tube. I put some grease directly into the liner and then place it back
into the stuffing tube. I then greased the flex shaft as normal. I took the boat out to run it and i ran for about 4 minutes brought it in and
went home. I then noticed that the strut bushing wouldnt slide back into the strut and i took out the flex shaft and noticed it had twisted become really small in the middle. The teflon liner was also torn up. What did i do that caused this? I can provide more details if necessary and any help or advice on flex shafts is useful.

Read all you can. The flex shaft is a known problem on the Revolt and you should get an upgraded shaft.
    OSE sells them

At the bottom of the forum index page, there is a RTR list. The first forum on the list is Aquacraft, click...Second down is the Aquacraft Revolt 30 forum. While it may not be in the post title, there are at least 10 threads with a discussion about the sorry flex shaft. Any way, look through the OSE Revolt upgrades for their replacement shaft, collet, etc.
