please help about to get out of rc

I have a persuit from kintec with a hobbywing 180 and a 4074 i took it out today and when i took off it ran full speed for about 75 feet than slowed down like i was hitting the lipo cut off so i brought it back in the batteries were hot 125 degrees and it was in the water for less than 1min. I changed batteries and set the cut off lower same thing so then i did something stupid set the esc to no lipo protection, i have run lipo on my scalers with no cutoff many of times i pull them at the first sign of slowing so i figured i would be fine, wrong one hit same thing happened so i brought it back in and smelled that oh so sweet smell i opened the hatch to find my 2s pack exploded and the 3s pack fine can someone please help me out. I have so much fun with the boat but do not want to go replacing parts if i dont need to thanks guys

My question is, if you ran it 75 ft, and it came back at 125, and you tried to run it regardless, why you're frustrated? You obviously know, you were making a mistake.... Yet you continued on.
What info can you tell us. Prop? Esc settings? Battery type and c rating/ mah rating?

Yea what prop? I think the t180 has a thermal cut off, hard cut off. ( I think) but that shouldn't have happened that soon. I could swear these speedos have a over amp protection circuit also. I have run the same boat (esc/motor combo) over proped and it would cut down like 50%. Ran a slightly smaller prop and could run all day long.

Seems like a bad setup. Maybe it finally broke.

What are the full stats on your boat? 4074 - what KV?
Sounds like you're running 5s, (2s and 3s in series)?
Did you make sure the lipo's are the same mah and C rating?
                  New lipos or already used?

how was i to know i was making a mistake i thought maybe i had 2 bad packs or the esc was acting up just trying to rule one or the other out. The second set of packs were not hot at all but the boat was taking off and slowing down in the first 75 feet so my reasoning behind turning the cut off off was to see if the esc was the problem some how kicking the lipo cut off on before it should have

I don't think the two incidents are necessarily related. First: you might have hit LVC ( due to the state of the condition of your batt) , Second: batteries may not be matched. Are they the same C rating and mah?
                              Just thinking out loud...
Too many boats, not enough time...
