    30 inch hydro question

What do you think is the best performing 30 inch hydro hull? Stealth, whiplash, insane, or any other?

Thanks Chief, is there alot of room in the hull, I was looking at a pic on the insane site, not a good pic, it would have been nice to see the inside, the hatch looked kinda skinny.

They have a new hatch now makes it look like a turbine cowling, gives you a load more room to rig it, the best person to chat to is on here user name properchopper he built 80% of my boats and his work is top shelf.

Here's a bunch of inside pictures-just scroll through. The new turbine hatch is standard and gives lots more room than the original cowl. The Whip's a great boat (if you like to build from a kit) and never hit anything with it. The PT is really nice and will take some fine tuning. The FE30 is the strongest and easiest to set up. Put all three on the course and it's pretty much a driver's race.

The wide sponson width of the stealth and whiplash helps alot with stability in race water. I have hit several buoys (see attachment below) and one dead boat with my whiplash and it has only one chip in paint.

We have Whips, Stealths, and Insanes in our club. I've personally built 4 Whips. I'm getting a Stealth for next year.
