This is the 3rdfastest gas cat ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349493456.210346.jpg and it sold today !!! The world record holder is Trent with a butch boat man motor . He only drives the boat from what I have been told and bob austin built it and he travels with butch and bob the prop king!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349493580.116757.jpgsee what I'm taking about !!!! If I had the best prop guy in the USA IMHO and a great engine builder like butch doing all my engine work and prop guy tweaking on my props at the record trails I could set a record also but 87.6 mph from my sprintcat is good enoug for me . I'm not suppose to Mention his name but Walky Durate has set a few records and I can tell you from running with him every Saturday for 7 months HE DOES ALL HIS SET UP AND BUILDING !!!!!! SS builds his motors and DASBOATS does his props but he takes that motor and those props and tweaks then hisself with NO OUT SIDE HELP AT ALL !!!! So if you ask me he's the TRUE RECORD HOLDER!!!! We don't like each other anymore and it's no big secret but I'm taking nothing away from Wally abs his SKILLS!!! The guy can set up a cat like it nothing !!! I was there when he broke 85mph for the 1st time and I was there when he broke 90mph for the 1st time and he does all his set up!!! And building !!!!! Now that I'm not in that controversy part of the hobby anymore I can say what I want and I just told the 100% TRUTH!!!!!!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349494037.491079.jpgWally's boats ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349494076.329978.jpg this is a gps reading from one of Wally's boats and I was there ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349494127.354994.jpg IMHO the real record holder is still Wally sorry Trent but until you show up with your own built boat and not with prop guru tweaking your just 2nd . I know this will stir up some bs BUT IT'S THE TRUTH!!!!!!

That's right a Rigger . But incase anyone missed it I was referring to a cat but I'm sure you know that . Those riggers are super fast and that would be Mark Grim and his rigger using a CC 29.5

My point was that if anyone thinks a gas boat cannot run right up there toward the top they r dead wrong. GREAT stuff coming down the pipe all the time on gas improvements. Dr. Wayne was the ref. u made to a gas or electric in the 104mph. I can post an ad CC Racing has on their engine being in the world record holder.

Someone correct me if i am wrong but this hull looks exactly the same as the formally known top secret boats supercat..if this is the case i had one that i sold a while back...it was a fun boat to drive but it was not real agile because it was really heavy like almost 12lbs empty..it seemed to have a higher center of gravity and wanted to dig in too much in the turns...i never rolled it over but i did not dare to turn it at really high speed..mine topped out at 72mph twin scorpion 4035's on 10s per motor

Yep that is Ed's old Super cat, I used to drive up to Batavia, NY and run boats with him once in a while. The boat was nice but if I remember correctly was very prop sensitive. If you had the right prop with the right work done it was fast and competitive.

Perhaps when they posted 103 it was the record at that time.... records are set to be broken !
