Rockin the retro drifter "s" sunday.

Took the old Drifter "S"; by H&M off the shelf today. How about some history. First ran this boat, 2001, at sharp park up at the original Michigan cup. "Q" Offshore. Hacker B50 9L (2683 per volt.)on 18 cells. Yep, 18 Nicads. 48,000 RPM on a 2 to 1 Hughey gear box. Sounded like a turbine. Ran about 45mph for a tad over 4 minutes. That was cookin 11 years ago.

Jump ahead and I put an old Hacker r 14L into it and am running it on 4S 6600 with a x442. should run about 6 minutes.

Fun boat. Nothin' airs out like a Drifter S. My first LSO record in 2006 (34.1mph) and my last (2012 - 67.771mph) was with a Drifter S.
