    Mounting my new Motor

    Hi everyone
    i am going to start to build my 34" FighterCat Cheetah i have a Neu 1527 motor is it going to hurt to put down some plywood befor i mount it to beef it up a little

    That all depends on the clearance you have below the canopy. Is there a reason you want to do this.................not many do.

      well i am new to this and it just seems that my motor is heavy for how thin the boat is i guess i dont know how strong they really are

        I just built a Cheetah for a customer. Leo 4082 (just slightly smaller than the 4092). Used the basic CF motor mount with the rear support ring - the same one used for the 4092.
        STRONG bottom, felt there was no need for a ply reinforcing base.
