I am no expert in FE, but I have this ESC/motor combo http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXKM2&P=0 in a 1/16 Finlay Roundnose. After some initial testing I installed a cooling jacket on the motor. My current setup is 2s 3000mah with a 30mm prop. It provides good speed with decent run time...4 minutes or so. With a 32mm prop the boat is much quicker, but is on the edge and will blow over if pushed too far. Also with the 32mm the components heat up a bit too much for my liking so I stick with the 30mm.
