    Torque roll problems....

I've got a revolt 30 with a leopard 3674 motor, sea king 180amp esc, stock prop. The boat runs fantastic but a high speed it wants to roll over to the right on to it's top... I've adjusted the trim tabs but they don't really touch the water at speed, I put the battery's off to the left side of the boat and it still torques to the right. Any suggestions on a fix for this issue?

What prop are you using? That is most likely what is causing the problem. Biasing the weight on the left should help - does it "want to roll over to the right" when going straight, or when turning?

The is motor is 2200kv and on 4s I can run it full throttle but it still wants to ride on the right side of the hull, on 6s its rediculous, Im going to check out a few dif props and maybe a dif motor. In the past I've converted a mini v to brushless power it ran a 4450 kv motor with a 50amp esc on 3s and octura prop and it blistered up the water never had these issues and that thing was tiny.....

If your running that 2200kv motor on 6s? Its gonna go boom, thats 48,840 rpm's. Thats up above what I would call a saw boat. On 4s your safe but 6s its a time bomb IMO.

Yea, thats what I've been reading the last few days and it runs good on 4s, it's just so fast on 6s lol. What's a saw boat?

Straight away/ just speed runs. Only a couple of runs back and forth. Then bring it in for your electronic to cool down

Yea that's all it's good for on 6s, is it bad for the motor? Normally at the end of a run ill put it around for a min or two to cool off all electrics...

Is it rolling at top end? Torque roll usually happens when your accelerating. If it rolls at top end your likely coming out of the water and rolling. Is it chine walking?

It torques over from about 1/4 throttle on, it rolls on to it's top at almost full throttle. At the risk of sounding dumb, I'm not sure what chine walking is.... If its the same as prop walk then no, it's stays in a strait line all threw the throttle range, it just rides hard on the right side of the hull. I added 4oz of weight to left side and changed the prop, I will be testing it after work. So why is 6s on a 2200 kv motor bad? The motor doesn't seem to get to warm same with the esc...

Chine walk is where your boat is riding on the back of the transom. And its walking back and forth, left to right. But still going in a fairly straight line. On electric motors, for sport running you wanna be around 26,000-30,000 rpms, racing 30,000 to 33,000, saw runs 33,000rpms. Atleast from what I've read. I'm sure some one with way more knoledge than me will chime in. Your running 48,800 rpms. Even if it don't get to hot. Your running a very hot setup. Even if the motor don't melt on you. The esc will surely blow. I'm not sure, but to me with that Kv of motor and on 6s, you should be pulling more than your 180esc can handle.

That makes sense, no it doesn't chine walk I don't think it gets the opportunity to do that bc it rides so hard on the right side on the hull. I've read the same thing, So how do ppl achieve 80 mph from 30,000 to 33,000 prop rpm?

Bigger diameter around motor and a longer motor. Ok a lower KV. Kinda like my fantasm, has a TP 4092 980Kv run on 8-10s. 8s-29,000rpms sport running. 9s-32,634rpms, 10s saw runs 36,260

Lol I don't think the revolt 30 could handle any more motor and still be fun to drive.... I want a 50 + mph boat and im colse but I'm not sure if the revolt is capable of it. I'm prolly just going to move up in hull size...
