    Is this a good setup?

I have a Miss Geico that will be here on friday. Everything is stock right now in the boat. I plan on running it stock this weekend. Then sometime at the first of next week, I'm going to tear it down to a bare hull. Do a CF inlay inside the boat and on the inside of the hatch. On the power setup I've got a Leo 4082 2200kv, T-180, traxxas wp servo. Gonna run it on 4s2p.

Just wondering if any of you guys are running this hull, motor, esc combo?
What do you think of the setup?
    what timing on the motor?
    What prop would you suggest?

The set up works well. I use m445 prop, most important is to true the ride pads.
Too many boats, not enough time...

I run that exact setup in my Pursuit spinnin an m445, the T180 handles it fine on 4s2p , doesnt LVC pre-maturely. I get mid 50's out of it.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Yea I plan on trueing up the ride pads. I heard some of these hulls have a slight twist in them. Whats the easiest way to make sure they are trued up good?

I know when I had my 4074 2200kv, I had the timing set to 15 degrees. Whats good to run this motor on?

Which prop do you think is better with that setup? I know I'm going to go thru all the testing of my props. Just checking. I have x440,x442,x445,m445,x642 to test on the MG.

Then for my fantasm and I know these are way to big. x450,x452,x455 plus s225,s230,s235 props

I did not have a chance to compare them side by side, I had a bouncing problem when I went to the off-set rudder, somehow the in-line stock rudder helped to keep the nose down. So I trued the pad and changed to m445 ( with off-set rudder), runs great. But my initial runs with the in-line rudder were with the x642 and GPS'ed at 53.3 mph in spite of the bouncing.P1020043.jpg
It seems more people here are using the m445. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC02d...layer_embedded
                    * Video was taken by a passer by, the prop was x642, the riding pads weren't trued , stock in-line rudder.

                      The 4082 - 2200kv is a Y wind so 10 - 15degrees timing.
