    Bench testing my Zonda twin

today was the day I got round to bench testing
Problem is only one motor starts up I have checked both escs and they both work fine
It looks like the problem is when I in conect the y lead I tried removing one of the red wires but then no light on the beck and no motors work FC 8s 250A escs 4s2p 8000 mah, trackstar 4068 2650kv motors
I have added a picture wondering if anyone can help
    Thanks in advance
    Sampit
Just to add when I tried each motor on there own one started pretty fast but the other I had to hold full throttle for around 6 seconds

Did you calibrate the throttle on the tx and esc's,
And check that the esc are programed right and the same ?
Also try reverse on the tx and see what happens.
    ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

      Little bit further
looks like one motor is starting up after around 2 seconds of full throttle
but the other one I have to hold for around 12 seconds not good!
I had to remove the drivelines on both motor to test but i got them both starting up
But I'm I getting five beeps after the main hook up beeps
Hold full throttle after 12 seconds they both motors start up as normal, it just when I first hook the packs up
both esc are set the same settings
would be a bit scarry holding one motor a full power until the other one fires up
Especially with drivelines conected and props on.
Is they any way set both escs to fire at the same time ?
Both escs are set to 1.5 s throttle delay

        Sam,

If you're holding one for more than 12 secs your esc's are not programmed the same. Turn ON your reverse when programming. The 12 sec delay is built in when you have reverse OFF.

When you calibrate the throttle on the tx and esc's,
You need to do one motor and esc at a time to.
And then program them, Pretty sure on that.

I can't be of any help but I just gotta say I'm intrigued by those motors, 6-pole and all. Nice work with the cooling jackets and I hope you'll figure it out. Can't wait to hear some feedback on those motors!

I had more success calibrating both esc's at the same time with an y-lead (SeaKing 180's that is, not sure how the FC's act). Otherwise it was impossible to get them to start at the same time, with maybe 1 second of delay from one to the other. 12 seconds delay between the two will be.....difficult
