I recently bought a TP 40mm case motor and to my surprise it came with a finned aluminum case. I don't have a waterjacket that fits (yet) and wondering if the water after going through the esc cools an outboard much more anyway. Any thoughts on a motor designed to be air cooled just sitting in the free air on top of an OB lower unit. Plenty of air plus some water spray at 40 plus mph. Any thoughts????
