    Eagle Tree V4

I just bought an eagle tree setup and was wondering if the included y cable can be plugged into the speed control for throttle position logging? In the manual it does not mention anything about speed controls it just says that it plugs into the servo.

Yep, it's the exact same signal as a servo will see.
I only used mine once in live mode the day I got it, pretty much only log amps and volts now. That is until I get a GPS unit. Used to log everything I could, then realized if the amps are high the temps will be high, keep the amp draw reasonable and the temps stay reasonable.
Less clutter in the boat as well.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

note that when using the Y cable you will be powering the logger and all extensions (GPS) from whatever is powering your Rx. The max voltage to the logger is 6.0V. Should not pose a problem unless you Rx is powered by 2S LiFe.
