Hey. Is it possible to setup a 21-24" mono hull so that it will run decent speeds and have run time over 10 minutes without using lipo?

I've gotten used to running my micro boat for almost 15 minutes on NiMH, and at the moment I just can't justify buying Lipo with all my other commitments and $$$ being tight.
