Running a 1527/1Y with a fightercat 300a esc. What is the PWM setting? 8khz 16khz or 32khz? Thanks

The higher the PWM the more efficient things are BUT a higher pwm rate can cause more heat in the fets as they are switching on and off faster, the esc is happiest at a lower pwm frequency
KV x Voltage x Pole count / 20 is a formula that can put you in the ballpark, this isn't the actual use for this formula but it gives you a starting point.
Works out to 5.6khz assuming you're running a 6s setup, so you'd leave the PWM at 8.
Also not knowing all the exact specs of a motor you are safer sticking with a lower PWM frequency, can't run the proper formula if you don't have all the numbers!
A lot of the serious heli guys will play with PWM and timing to find the sweet spot, their requirements are very different from ours though!
One last note, One of the worst things you can do is a high PWM rate and part throttle running, thats the mix for a smoke show!If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?Comment

Thanks Carl. 11 ran a little hot. I'll back it off to 10 and leave it set to 8khz. Just simply for knowledge what are the other settings for?
Disregard. I just read the above post. Thanks guysComment
