    Recovery boat electronics?

    Hey guys,

Ive been looking around and not had much luck looking into this.

What do you run for an esc and motor in a recovery boat? Can you run stock brushless systems or will you burn them up? I ask this because I just picked up a Delta force clone off a friend for a real good deal. My plans were to use it as a recovery boat but when I took it down to run it I really liked it. The boat I am going to be pushing is a 49" gas cat :/ I know its big. That and at times a MG.

I have seen some boats with a XL-5 and a titan 12 turn it. Not sure about prop either.

    Thanks

    Hi Wicked,

I think by far a best recuse i ever had will be reef racer because its fully water tied and the best part is that i converted it into brushless system.
I am running on turnigy 60amp and hobbyking 2830 motor. Your gas cat as huge as my backlash , and this little bugger has no issue tugging anything back to shore
just ensure you will have high strenght fishing line

ya I have seen that setup as well guys usually wanna run brushed gear with steerable outdrive for low speed manoeuvering sometimes paired with a slightly larger prop as it wont be spinning as fast.or you can post pics of the boat and I may buy it lol.And go to crappy tire and get some 3/4 cpcv and elbows to make a fork or shape.... to push your boats in.where in ont. are u located bud?
