Re deans ultra good enough for an SV27 setup?

Looking to "consolidate" my connection on my boats. Some have Anderson (45amp), and some have Deans. I am running an SV27 motor, Barracuda 80amp ESC, and 4S lipo. This will be a couple of different boats, one is a OM26, and the other a pickle fork hydro, both around 26". Are Deans good enough for this amp draw, or do I really need to swap everything out and go with 5.5mm or 6mm bullets?

The dean's are fine -- but do yourself a favor make the switch to 5.5 or 6 mm on all your boats that way your are not limited to what boats you can run!

I started out with dean's on our SV's and Mean machine but am in the process of switching over to all the same size bullets ... just mkes charging batteries simplier!

If you are like most of us you will want to go bigger, faster, stronger etc.... eventually!
