Nitro conversion

Im buildind a 1/8 scale Atlas Van Lines hydroplane, can someone tell me what kind of power set up I would need to make this electric and legal for sanctioned races.

Check out the NAMBA & IMPBA rulebooks if you plan on running scale 1/8, figure out which body you plan on racing under. There are or were some differences last time I looked.
No idea of power setup, been eyeing a 1/8 build for years now and have never made the commitment.
Good luck, I'd like to do a 1/10 or 1/12 Atlas, maybe this winter if I run out of other boat projects!
