      James,

You mean GPS? Or is GOS a new abbreviation for something like Global odometer system?

I ordered one of those LifeProof cases for my son this past weekend. It should be here this thursday. I have always used otterbox cases for my iphones. From what they say this case might do it all. I cant wait to see how well it really works.

I've used this case for over a year. It's worth it's weight in gold.

I have used my Android phone a few times as a GPS, worked great until I switch my TX/RX to the Flysky FS-GT3B. The phone interfered with the radio causing erratic behavior. Only by luck that I did not crash. Not sure why, but as soon as I took the phone out the problems went away...

I've used my iPhone with a gt3b and no probs. I only done a couple of passes to get a speed reading though.

Sound's like a good excuse for me to get a new iPhone...

I'll grab one from Stadium yamahaha if poss.

turn off bluetooth and wifi before launch..they're a powerful Tx/Rx on 2.4G all by themselves... likely blasted the GTB off air

I thought that too. Brought her in to check, the wifi and bluetooth were off. Put the phone back in the boat, tapped the throttle and she kept going... kept tapping the throttle frantically until she finally stopped on the other side of the pond. Went through 2 sets of batteries after removing the phone with no problems. I really need to just buy a GPS....

Im no fan of Tx devices in an Rc boat.. too many ways signal Rf can screw the Rx.
Im after this for my daughter... at 24 she has replaced 3(that Im aware of) iPhones since xmas.. swimmers, every one !
Sailing with iPhones in ziplok bags sound okay... w.r.o.n.g. !
