Found this waterproof case for the iPhone. I think I might get one so I can use my phone to check speeds without the worry of getting the phone wrecked.

I ordered one of those LifeProof cases for my son this past weekend. It should be here this thursday. I have always used otterbox cases for my iphones. From what they say this case might do it all. I cant wait to see how well it really works."If you can't win - Wreck someone who can!"Comment

I have used my Android phone a few times as a GPS, worked great until I switch my TX/RX to the Flysky FS-GT3B. The phone interfered with the radio causing erratic behavior. Only by luck that I did not crash. Not sure why, but as soon as I took the phone out the problems went away..."There's nothing else I really want to do other than get up and build boats." - Mike FioreComment

kept tapping the throttle frantically until she finally stopped on the other side of the pond. Went through 2 sets of batteries after removing the phone with no problems. I really need to just buy a GPS....

I thought that too. Brought her in to check, the wifi and bluetooth were off. Put the phone back in the boat, tapped the throttle and she kept going...kept tapping the throttle frantically until she finally stopped on the other side of the pond.
