    2nd boat recommendations ?

Gentlemen, what would be a good "2nd" boat to get ? My only experience is with the AQ Mini Wildcat but now I'm ready for something with a little bit more speed. Was looking at the EP Wildcat, minimono, or the newest version of the Pro boat Shockwave in either BL or Brushed. Leaning on the EP wildcat cuz I have the battery packs for them already. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What about sailboats are they pretty cool to run ?

    Thanks in advance, Marcusg

Sailboats with Motors you can run around 4-5 hours (only use the sail, without motor use)

Speed? what do you call speed? say some numbers
    Zonda 41" Carbon Cat, Motors: 2x 2075KV 3674 Brushless Inrunner, ESC: 2x 200Ish plus, Props: 2x 42mm, 2x 5s 5000Mah 50/100c

Something faster than the Mini but not as fast has a two lipo battery setup. Say 20-25 mph.

the wildcat mini cat is a nice boat, stable, fast with the right lipos and setup, and cheap

EDIT: i know a guy he runs the mini wildcat on twinsetup, 2x 2040 motors, over 3,5k kv (doesnt know the right numbers), hobbywing seaking 25a esc and Octura x430 props, nice days he drives about 40 mp/h.

edit edit: here a video of a guy i found on youtube, think its the same setup like this guy got.

You COULD run a larger boat like one of the Proboats (Impulse, Blackjack, Geico) on NiMH packs and get those speeds (with the enhanced stability of a larger boat). More expensive sure, but they give you room to grow into a faster boat if you want to throw a few LiPOs in there and eventually hop up the electronics.

If you like small boats, check out minicat racing. There's a nice micro hydro there, runs on 3S but you could configure it for 2S if you want.

I don't really want to modify anything if possible because for one, I'm new to boating and two, I'm just not much of a builder so to speak thus the reason for rtr boats. I have a few 3S battery packs (2200) and 6 cell 3000 nimh laying around so I wouldn't mind getting a boat that could use these batteries. Don't care for two battery setups (of course, I do like the MG though. :D).

                  Thanks again
