    Shovel nose

Ive been looking at this from hobbyking as I fancy something a little different. It doesn't have to be super fast just a bit of fun

But does anyone know of any other shovel noses available? I don't mind just a hull but would prefer one with decals on. The HK one seems to go quite well too

I got my 1/10 scale carbon fiber hull from:

For an extra charge he'll paint the boat with automotive paint.

        James,
I was looking at this too, the only thing I am not sure is that it uses 2-piece flex shaft, I never dealt with theses and don't know if one can find anything to convert to a 1- piece. Kintec has those for Pursuit, i assume one can use those provided the length is ok. If you decide to get it, let me know.
Too many boats, not enough time...

H.O.R. Racing has a 28" hull for 65 bucks. Don't know what the quality is like though. Often thought of getting one myself.

It's quite easy to get out with a strut but you have to remove the strut first then undo the motor collet and pull the fled through. I thing the only way to run a single flex is to replace the strut and stuffing tube for a 3/16" one.

I have the Libero. Im very happy with the boat, nice finish and its fast.. On 4s, stock motor and octura x440/3 I got 50,3mph. So far the flex is ok, but I think 3/16... :-)
I did small upgrade. The boat was a little bit nervous in turns, so I upgraded the turnfin to Proboat 1/12 hydro turnfin and it turns perfect at full speed.
If not today, maybe to morrow..

That's pretty fast for a boat that size can't imagine it handling very well at 50mph.
Also can't imagine it handles choppy water very well.
How did you guage your speed for that?
Have to be a small gps....

Believe me it handles very good at that speed, it has no tendency of take-off ore anything else.
But of course with calm water and not much wind.
I use a normal Garmin GPS in front of the hull, I had a new run today with the same speed :-).

The upgrade turnfin is a must to have, if not you will have problems in turns at high speed..
