TX-- Carrolton Classic FE Race results!

Here are the results from the Fast Electric Classes at the Texas Carrolton Classic Race (put on by Dallas R/C Thunderboats)... It was a BLAST getting to race with Jay Tuner and the HOTMBC crew!!

There were over 30 classes of racing in all (Gas, Nitro, and Electric), with 5 heats for each class!! That over 150 heats!!!! LOTS OF RACING!! LOTS OF FUN!!

I learned alot, had MUCHO FUN and came home with 2 trophies!!


Big thanks to Steven V. and OSE, for providing me with a cooling jacket to test this weekend on my Neu 2215 powered 10S Insane Cat!! It worked great,,, no motor temps over 108 all weekend long!

Why are the calling the 4 and 6s hydro classes "Open"?
Were they racing riggers and sport hydros together?

Jay, Jim and Steve are topshelf racers. I haven't met Tom but I know he builds some awesome boats.

I dont know exactly why they called it open 4S and 6S, because the 4S class was P-Hydro only,,,, and the 6S was open.. In 6S open I ran my M/M cat, Jay T. ran a 33" Titan Mono, Steve M. ran a 30" Mono, and Tom T. ran the Miss Great Lakes Hydro... Lots of fun racing with the HOTMBC crew!! Now I am a proud member, and look forward to racing with them soon..

Here is a GREAT video of the races!! Harold did a wonderful job!! It has some good video of the 10S FE race...

The "dumb dumb" flipping into the pond at the end is ME!! LOL
