    Anyone running endurance?

Anyone here running for say 30 mins? Is it even possible? Does heat build up cause problems? Anyone running 10 mins?

    thanks,
    Steve

I get 7 minnutes or less on my 4s setups, (EKOS, MC) but can get 10 min runtimes if I just part throttle it with a few speed runs between.

you might have no grease left in the drive shaft after that long and you might end up with a bit of water in the boat

Don't get the grease comment, maybe things have change. I run teflon and never have this problem.

Even with teflon, when theres no grease in the tube, water will come up the flex shaft after running the boat for more than 10 minutes if you dont have an Oiler, and seeing you are using teflon, you probably dont have that setup either

Ran Ed's teflon into the strut for years and never had a drop of water ever. I am guessing you guys are running wire drives and that's why it's leaking.

I'vr ran gassers for 1/2 hour at a time. Grease isnt going to be a problem. Teflon, of not.
Long run times... 2p HV setup low kv motor with a conservative prop. 10 minutes.. sure, why not?

Endurance runs, or just 10+ minutes runtime would force the "Iwannagofaster" or wannabe "SAW setup" runners to learn some refined setup/equipment skills. Big difference between a 4.5 minute Offshore setup and a ZSP/WTS? * Banzai run.

Personally all my nerves can take is a 2.5 minute 6-lap heat, but that's just me
