I dont think they are the same. Were the fc's made by suppo?? I could be wrong. Good find though, just need someone to pull the trigger on one and see if they're any good

Im in need in near future so I inquired about the 3-16s 380A units.

I will post response when/if I get one.

I did come straight out the box that 10 pc order is to much due to not many customers buying this specific product... SO hopefully something can happen on the cheap.
Alibaba is not a retailer. It's an outlet for manufactures to aquire contracts with retailers. It's also a haven for scammers, so beware of giving anyone on there your money. I have known multiple people who have lost relatively large sums of money with companies on that site (I'm not saying the site is a scam, they have some legit manufacturers, but there are some scammers that post there as well).
If you buy something there it's a good idea to get a reference from someone you know, current US customers of theirs, something like that.

I think these ESCs will appear elsewhere in the near future, where you can buy individual pieces. If that post on Alibaba is legit, I wouldn't be surprised if they were already in route to a retailer or retailers.

Oh wow, yes, those are the same. I received my motor back today and Ben put on of those 250a esc's in the box with it as he had promised months ago. Has the new thinner shrink wrap and 8mm bullets installed. This is the same as the fightercat 2-8s 240a esc's. I am interested in pricing too. Dunno who designed these controllers, but they are very much the same. Mike

                Botom line:

                $158 minimum 10 ESC's. I opted to look into the 3-16S 380A version.

Heres the email I got back:
Our company has specialized in ESC for more than ten years.
we made more than 100 type of products, current from 20A-400A,voltage from 2S-24S(8V-100V),
We also can customize ESC according to the customer's demand ,such as FighterCat (http://fightercatracing.com/) in USA.have been customizing ESC in our company for years .

Rencently, some companys in china imitate our ESC ,but they are very low quanlty and use our old firmware with some bugs.
Our newest ESC can be updated firmware by the user, can two-way communicate with PC and so on more new function.

As your requirement ,enclosed the complete quotation sheet for you ,pls kindly check the attachment .
Any further questions ,pls feel free to contact us .
                Await for your early reply.

                Best regards

Here's a way to prove id they're legit:
Ask them who is fightercat's current owner and what was the new thing fightercat was going to incorporate into their ESC's? If they can answer those two questions, they are either legit or a scammer who does his research.
If it is legit, I might be in for an 8S/240A

Im not going to pursue it. I noticed FC prices disappeared but guess theres not much of a difference there. Im not going to buy $1,600 + shipping worth of these. If I could of bought 3-4 of them as "samples" then maybe.

What kind of price on a single unit? I sent an email asking about just 1.

I am suprised at how quick I got a response thru Alibaba

I really would like to know if those units are any good and if they are a reputable dealer. A couple of those look like dam good units for the price.
